Sisters Gizzy and Meg are so close they're better than blood to each other. Raised by their traveller father, they come from laughter round the camp-fire, singing, and climbing up rickety ladders to go down the death slide. When addiction grips them both, they are both brought right to the edge. Now that Gizzy is ready to start fresh and move to a new place, Meg finds herself at a crossroads. If she goes with Gizzy will she really solve her addiction issues? Or can she stay in a place riddled with memories of using, and still survive?
Written and performed by Clean Break graduates, Sarah Cowan, Cydney Denton and Jennifer Joseph, Hours til Midnight gives a unique view from the edge, exploring addiction, resilience and women’s relationship to crime and punishment.
